#Trends in the looner world don’t arrive with press(ure) releases😛 they grow quietly, but they are noticable!

Someone experiments with a bigger size, manufacturers see the demand rising and they act on it. Someone rides a new mylar balloon and BANG (not the pop) a new trend is emerging. Someone orders a custom shape that makes the rest of us think, wait… that’s possible?

And before you know it, the entire scene shifts. But we’re talking about shifts that happen kind of slowly. If you missed it, or you want some inpsiriation, make sure you read further!🔥

1. Bigger Is Not Just Better. It’s Standard.

There was a time when a large inflatable meant something around two meters.

Now? Three meters is becoming normal. Even when the room is kind of small, you still can find a way to make it fit😄

The appetite for oversized pieces has grown massively. Whales, ride rolls, giant pillows, giant animals, you name it! The bigger the surface, the more pressure distribution. That means: a very intense and bouncy experience!🔥

Large inflatables are no longer a ’niche flex’. They are becoming the reference point. Look at how big the inflatable whale from IW became over the past 10 years🐋

And what’s interesting is this: even solo riders are choosing pieces that were once considered duo territory.

Which brings us to the next shift👇🏽

2. More riders on balloons and inflatables🙌🏽

More and more content revolves around shared pressure! yay! Riding together on inflatables , balloons and yoga balls has another level op appeal to it.

The shared inflatable or balloon as the loyal submissive companion🎈 Content makers more and more pushed this principle to production which is awesome😏 The appeal is obvious. More weight equals more compression. More compression equals more intensity🤩

There is something deeply powerful about seeing two bodies testing the limits of air together.

Even solo looners consume that content as reference fuel. Watching shared interaction often amplifies solo play. It increases appetite, just like watching someone eat when you are already hungry😏

3. Custom inflatables are on the rise

Standard shapes used to dominate; beach balls and the classic pool toys from Bestway and Intex.

They are still really nice! But looners want something more tailored to their desires🎈

The rise of detailed custom ordering reflects something bigger. The community is becoming more knowledgeable. People understand material thickness. They discuss seam types. They compare finishes and try out new stuff.

The popularity of

4. Collectors and non poppers extending the life of their inflatables

This is a quieter trend, but an important one. Some looners like to ride the inflatable while inflating . But they don’t want to pop their favorite toy!💖 So they may want to reinforce their inflatables.

It results in more looners are reinforcing their inflatables before something goes wrong. The community gets more knowledgeable every year🧑🏽‍🎓

5. More custom shapes of balloones

Latex balloons are not disappearing. Far from it.

But what is changing is the level of specificity.

Clear versus opaque.
Thicker latex.
Industrial size balloons or printed customs (very nice trend!🎈)
Perfect roundness versus elongated shapes (like the duck shape)

There is also more crossover between balloon culture and inflatable culture. Riders who once focused only on latex are experimenting with PVC. PVC riders are rediscovering the raw unpredictability of latex.

The boundaries are softer than they used to be. Oh and another interesting trend is the super sized big foil balloons you can get🔥

6. AI content is on the rise

This is a special issue. On the one hand, it certainly poses a threat to traditional content creators such as Guilty Pressure and many existing looner studios🙀

On the other hand, it also offers something new and special. The thrill of prompting and getting a specific result that is exactly what you want to see is really exciting! For example, do you enjoy watching a looner girl with red hair bounce wildly on an inflatable crocodile while lounging by the rooftop pool of a luxury hotel? Yes, that is possible. It is essentially custom looner content taken to the extreme!✨

The downside is that these ‘productions’ (our prompt results) lack soul; everything is based on trained statistical models. I have experimented with this myself and the initial results are promising on the one hand and on the other you notice that something is missing! We’ll see what the future brings, though!

Conclusions?

If you zoom out, one pattern becomes clear. The looner community is moving toward deeper intentionality😄 It is less about random inflation and more about curated sensation. What we are doing with it is becoming more refined!

And honestly? That makes the future very exciting, don’t you think?!

Because if this is the direction we are heading, the next few years are going to be larger, shinier and more intense than ever.
